I that you can talk to your husband about it and that he listen to and understand all of your concerns. Maybe you can open it with asking him about his motives for buying this type of gun at all. I'm going to guess that it has something to do with the possibility that there be more gun control in near future, and he have been hearing about it from friends and coworkers and jumped on the bandwagon to "buy now".
